- Prize Committee
The Malaysia Teacher Prize has a rigorous multi-stage judging process, which is conducted by judges from various organisations and the Ministry of Education (MoE) using a standardised judging rubric throughout the process. Prior to reaching the Prize Committee, all submitted applications were screened based on the eligibility criteria and completeness of their application.
Stage 2 Judging
Each application is reviewed by two Prize Committee Members and Members who knew applicants at a personal level had to abstain from judging whereas Members who knew applicants professionally had to declare a conflict of interest. The average scores were reviewed internally to ensure that all eligible applicants were scored consistently in accordance with the standards of the judging rubric.
