Masniah binti Masri @ Masrie is currently serving in the Learning Sector of the Sabah State Education Department (JPN Sabah) as the Senior Deputy Director (KPPK) of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Unit. Her service at JPN Sabah began in 2020 as a Deputy Director (KPP) in the School Management Sector. After just a year in that sector, she was transferred to the Planning and PPD Management Sector (SPPD) due to her experience in planning.Prior to this, she served at the Aminuddin Baki Institute, Sabah Branch (IABCS) for four years, where she was heavily involved in program management for middle leaders as well as aspiring headmasters and principals (PGB). One of the most meaningful programs she managed was the NPQEL program, which provided essential management knowledge to future school leaders. Her decision to serve at IABCS was driven by a desire to deepen her understanding of school management while gaining new experiences.Before joining IABCS, she spent 10 years with the School Inspectorate, where she gained extensive hands-on knowledge of school management. The systematic school monitoring process conducted by the inspectorate enabled her to guide schools in both administrative matters and teaching and learning practices.In summary, her career spans 8 years in schools, 10 years with the School Inspectorate (Jemaah Nazir), 4 years at IABCS, and nearly 4 years at JPN Sabah. This journey has brought her immense fulfillment and unwavering dedication to serving the field of education.
