MTP Summit & Award Ceremony
The inaugural Malaysia Teacher Prize (MTP) Summit and Award Ceremony 2023, hosted at the Sime Darby Convention Centre on 4th and 5th of November 2023, brought together 735 guests, including educators, stakeholders and students from across the nation. The theme of the event, “From the Classrooms to the World Stage,” emphasises the role our teachers play in nation building and their ability in making a global impact. This is also reflected in the design of the agenda for the event with Day 1 focusing on classroom related topics whereas Day 2 focuses on education at large.
Featuring a series of 11 panel sessions with 60 speakers and workshops by the Finalists of MTP 2023, the Summit covered current topics in education as innovative teaching methodologies, strategies for empowering teachers, promotion of inclusive education and the role of digital literacy and education technology. For more details on the event agenda, please refer to the section below.
The Summit concluded with the Award Ceremony which was officiated by Yang Berhormat Puan Fadhlina Sidek, the Minister of Education.
